Women of Achievement Impact Awards Luncheon – 2016

An extraordinary day of celebration and inspiration at the YWCA Spokane’s 34th annual Women of Achievement IMPACT luncheon where we honored 7 amazing women and received a surprise message from one of Spokane’s most inspirational women, Sister Madonna Buder (otherwise known as The Iron Nun). It was a beautiful gathering of 1200 YWCA Spokane friends coming together to make sustainable change in our community for women, children, and families.

Thanks to the commitment of our sponsors, event committee, our board, staff, volunteers, and community members, the YWCA Spokane raised $320,000 in support for the programs and services we provide to thousands of women and children who need it most.

These funds help women and children escape from violence, access counseling and legal support, learn new skills, and build community in a safe environment focused on healing and growth.

Thank you Spokane!
