Seeking Award Nominations for YWCA’s 2017 Women of Achievement Luncheon

WoA 2017 Nomination Request 1Artboard 1The Women of Achievement awards luncheon is an annual opportunity for YWCA Spokane to honor and celebrate the outstanding contributions of women in our community. Winners of a Women of Achievement Award embody the mission of the YWCA by giving generously of themselves to make Spokane a better place for all citizens to live.

Selected candidates will demonstrate leadership through their professional work or service to the community in one of more of the following categories:

  • Arts & Culture
  • Business & Industry
  • Carl Maxey Racial & Social Justice
  • Community Enhancement
  • Education
  • Science,Technology & Environment
  • Young Woman

The Women of Achievement IMPACT luncheon has evolved into YWCA Spokane’s largest fundraising event and is one of the area’s most prestigious award recognition events for women. It is designed to express gratitude for our local winners, provide inspiration to the attendees, and raise awareness about the challenges women, children, and families face in relation to domestic violence, homelessness, and unemployment in our community.

NOMINATE A WOMAN OF ACHIEVEMENT

Please complete and submit your nomination using one of the below forms by June 15th, 2017. Email your completed form to woa@ywcaspokane.org or fax to (509) 326-1597. Nomination forms may also be dropped off or mailed to YWCA Spokane at 930 N Monroe St, Spokane, WA 99201, Attn: Women of Achievement Award. All information provided on the nomination form will be kept confidential.
