Support Through Your Donor Advised Fund

About Donor-Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) allows individuals to make charitable contributions and receive an immediate tax deduction. The funds are managed by a DAF custodian, and the donor can recommend grants to their preferred nonprofit organizations. Donors can contribute to the fund over time and recommend grants to charities at their discretion, providing flexibility in their giving strategy. DAFs offer a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way to support the causes you care about.

How to Give

Why A Donor-Advised Fund?

Many of our donors choose DAFs because they:

  • Provide an immediate tax deduction when you contribute to the fund
  • Offer investment options to potentially grow your charitable dollars
  • Retain flexibility to make grant recommendations over time
  • Simplify record-keeping with consolidated tax documentation

If you've established a Donor-Advised Fund, you can easily direct grants to YWCA Spokane to support our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

Contact Your DAF Provider

  1. Log in to your DAF account with your sponsoring organization
  2. Search for YWCA Spokane
    • We recommend searching by EIN number:
      91-0565750
  3. Select YWCA Spokane from the search results
    • Depending on the platform, our organization name may appear as YWCA Spokane, YWCA of Spokane, or Young Womens Christian Association (note: no apostrophe)
  4. Enter your grant amount and any additional information
  5. Submit your grant recommendation
