Volunteer Spotlight – Gaby

YWCA Spokane would like to express our sincere gratitude to Gaby through this month’s Volunteer Spotlight.

Gaby has completed 40 hours of  advocacy training and is one of our Volunteer Shelter Advocates. Gaby is passionate about working with survivors of domestic violence. She also has previous experience working with community non-profits, organizing learning opportunities around the youth in the Seattle area. Gaby is working toward her bachelor degree and is interested in legal advocacy.

We are so grateful for her support and dedication towards our agency and community.  Her support has made a difference for our staff and the women and children we serve.  Thank you Gaby!

YWCA’s Domestic Violence Safe Shelter is in need of volunteer advocates to provide support, safety planning and referrals for DV survivors in our safe shelters and 24 hours help line.
