Starting 2020 with access to care from HSSA

Thank you to the Health Sciences & Services Authority of Spokane County (HSSA) for your grant!

YWCA Spokane was awarded a generous grant for our trauma treatment and mental health program. YWCA providers have seen a growing need for this service among domestic violence survivors, and providing in-house psychological support through mental health therapy for victims will directly help many at-risk families this year.

Because of HSSA’s support, YWCA’s Intimate Partner Domestic Violence Support Services will be able to provide mental and behavioral healthcare to low-income people in Spokane. This grant will allow us to better serve our clients in a complex health care system who are battling difficult situations. We are so thankful for HSSA’s commitment to serving survivors in need!
