Normally access to Our Sister’s Closet requires a scheduled appointment. Each women receives a 1.5hr session with a personalized shopper who will assist women with finding 3-5 outfits, accessories, and toiletries to meet her need and help her achieve her work and life goals.

Our open store events have been very well received by women in the community. We receive many comments expressing how valuable the service is.

Each event is well attended and full of exciting energy. It has been a great success! Each quarter the YWCA is able to provide for an additional 70 women at the open store event, that is an extra 280 women served each year!

Help Make The Event A Success

Additional volunteer support during open store events helps to make sure all women receive a wonderful customer service experience while shopping in our boutique. If you would like to volunteer please email volunteer@ywcaspokane.org.

We also needed a large supply of grocery and shopping bags at each open store event. Consider donating your bags so women have something to carry the clothing and necessity items they just received. Drop off donations for the store at the YWCA Spokane, 930 N Monroe St. Direct questions to the Store Manager, Teresa at teresad@ywcaspokane.org or call 509-789-9280.

Thank you for your support!
