Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Rally, March & Resource Fair Returns

Every year, our nation celebrates and honors the life and contributions of civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Together, we can make MLK Day a day to embody and uphold Dr. King’s legacy. Today, and everyday, we commit ourselves to the work of promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

The two-day event starts Sunday, January 15, with a commemorative celebration at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ from 3-5pm. The celebration continues Monday, January 16, at the Spokane Convention Center in Ballrooms 111 for the annual Unity Rally, March, and resource fair.

Support the Center

This year, the MLK Unity Rally, March, and resource fair returns thanks to the hard work of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center in East Central, one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in Spokane County. Created 50 years ago as a community response to a community need, this non-profit provides an array of culturally responsive educational and social services. The Center lives out Dr. King’s legacy and vision of equal respect, treatment and accessibility for all people.
