Thank you for serving as a YWCA Spokane Board of Director from 2022 - 2024!

We are deeply grateful for the time, care, and leadership you shared as a member of our Board. Your thoughtful guidance, commitment to our mission, and willingness to lend your voice and perspective helped strengthen YWCA Spokane and advance our work to build a more equitable and safe community. The impact of your service will continue to be felt through the programs, partnerships, and people you helped support. Thank you for your dedication and for leaving our organization stronger because of your involvement.

On behalf of our team, those we serve, and our community we thank you for all you do!

Lisa Simpson is the Director of Partner Services and Technology for Visit Spokane. Her connection to the YWCA goes back three decades when as a freshman at Washington State University she accepted a work-study position at the YWCA of WSU that led to years of service on the Student Board of Directors and culminated in a term as President. The YWCA provided education and lessons in advocacy for equality and social justice for which she is forever grateful. Born and raised in Spokane, Lisa started her career in retail management, moved away, and advanced through many positions, ultimately finding passion and aptitude for marketing and technology. In 2006, she and her husband returned to Spokane to raise their children. She has been volunteering with YWCA Spokane since 2008.
