What is IPV?

Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a pattern of behavior used to gain or maintain power and control over a partner in an intimate relationship. It is coercive, controlling behavior that can include many forms of abuse including emotional, psychological, sexual, financial, or physical abuse.
