We are deeply grateful for the time, care, and leadership you shared as a member of our Board. The impact of your service will continue to be felt through the programs, partnerships, and people you helped support. Thank you for your dedication and for leaving our organization stronger because of your involvement.

On behalf of our team, those we serve, and our community we thank you for all you do!

Emily Morgan has been on the YWCA Spokane Board of Directors since 2020. She first became involved with the YWCA when, inspired by their mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, she moved from Iowa to work as a legal advocate. In 2018, Emily left her position with the organization to work in Community Engagement for the Department of Children, Youth and Families. Emily has been an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Spokane since 2017 and is passionate about advocating for vulnerable populations and those furthest from opportunity. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, watching reality television and spending time with her partner, son and beloved dog, Hansel.

"The YWCA Spokane became my home when I moved here," shares Emily. "The work the organization does saves lives, and their employees are some of the best, hard working, and most loving people you will meet. Our community is lucky to have the Y."
