She is a member of AgWest’s Management Committee.

Candy joined one of AgWest’s legacy associations, Northwest Farm Credit, in 1996 after graduating from Oregon State University with a major in Agriculture Business Management and minor in Animal Science. She spent the first 15 years of her career in direct lending roles in Northwest’s Twin Falls, Salem and Pasco branches focused on large, vertically integrated operations before joining the Capital Markets team in 2011. There she served as a relationship manager and in progressive leadership roles, including Senior Vice President-Credit for Special Industry Lending, Senior Vice President-Capital Markets and Head of Specialized Lending before assuming her current responsibilities in 2025.

"The work of the YWCA Spokane is inspiring to me, not as a victim of domestic violence or racism, but as a mother, wife, family member and friend to many affected by these relational and cultural atrocities. The YWCA aggregates resources and thoughtfully deploys funding and human capital in a way that supports the transition of the vulnerable to the powerful. This demanding, gritty, aspirational work offers hope and help those who have the audacity to change the trajectory of their lives. To offer any perspective, talent or treasure I possess to further this work is an honor." - Candy

Candy was an active member of the Lewis & Clark High School Booster Club during her daughter’s high school years and currently serves on the boards of Leadership Spokane and YWCA. Candy, her husband and daughter are world travelers, love books and growing (eating) tomatoes.

Thank you to Candy and our entire Board of Directors

We extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible individuals joining our Board of Directors. Their dedication and commitment to our mission undoubtedly bolsters YWCA Spokane's ability to provide vital programs and services to our community. We welcome the support and collaboration that this esteemed board brings to our journey of empowerment, equity, and innovation.
