About Calley
Calley Valicoff is a licensed civil engineer and Associate and Senior Project Manager at Coffman Engineers in Spokane, where she leads multidisciplinary teams delivering complex projects across the energy, utility, industrial, and community infrastructure sectors. With nine years of professional experience, she is focused on energy, sustainability, and long term community impact.
Calley is a graduate of Washington State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Resilience is the throughline of her professional and personal work—from physical and mental health to resilient infrastructure that serves our communities, to the systems that support people through challenge and change. Her engineering work is grounded in stewardship, sustainability, and the belief that the built environment plays a critical role in community well being.
She has held numerous leadership roles within the American Society of Civil Engineers, including President of the ASCE Inland Empire Section and Executive Committee Member for ASCE’s Infrastructure Resilience Division. Through this work, she has supported student scholarships, professional education, and industry collaboration focused on resilient and equitable outcomes.
YWCA Spokane’s mission strongly aligns with Calley’s values, and she is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the YWCA Spokane Board of Directors. She is particularly drawn to YWCA’s work supporting women and families in building personal resilience, an essential dimension of strong communities. Outside of work and service, Calley prioritizes health, mentorship, and practices that sustain long term resilience.
“Advancing equity, resilience, and inclusive leadership is at the heart of my work and deeply aligned with YWCA Spokane’s mission to eliminate racism, empower our community, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. I’m excited to bring my experience in strategic planning and project management to support and strengthen this vital work and its lasting impact.” - Calley Valicoff
