In her 39 years of service to Spokane County, Bonnie worked tirelessly to improve the lives of marginalized youth. As the Juvenile Court Administrator, Bonnie brought innovative, inclusive, and positive change to the juvenile justice system. Her aspirations were two fold: preventing youth from entering the court system and building a more equitable system overall.

In 2020, received the Women of Achievement Award for Community Enhancement. "I was so proud of the other award winners and the women who were honored before us," says Bonnie. Now she and her husband fill their retirement days loving and caring for our seven grandchildren.
