Free Support & Resources For Survivors of Intimate Partner Domestic Violence (IPDV)

A new quarterly resource fair designed to make it easier for survivors of IPDV to access multiple services in one place.

No appointments are needed to participate in this resource fair. 

  • Date: Friday, April 3rd
  • Time: Doors open at 8:30am | Services offered 9:00am – 12:00pm
  • Location: YWCA Spokane, 930 N Monroe St, Spokane, WA 99201
  • Childcare: On-site, free childcare is available on a first come, first served basis

About the Fair

Stop by during drop-in hours to speak with advocates, ask questions, and get connected to services for survivors that support safety, stability, and healing.

This fair brings together trusted advocates and community partners who are here to listen, provide information, and help you explore options that feel right for you.

 

What is IPDV?

Available Drop-in Services

Connect with multiple services in one place. You are welcome to come for one resource or speak with multiple providers. Everything is free and confidential.

Legal Services

  • Assistance with protection orders
  • Legal information related to intimate partner domestic violence
  • Referrals to legal services & attorneys

Housing Services

  • Housing advocacy & resource navigation
  • Support identifying safe housing options
  • Coordinated Entry Assessments for homelessness or housing instability

State Benefit Assistance

Meet with a DSHS representative to:

  • Apply for or renew benefits
  • Replace EBT cards
  • Address questions about programs & eligibility

Health Services

Molina Healthcare's mobile clinic will be onsite and available for: 

  • Well visits, sick visits & prescription refills
  • On-site testing: flu, strep, pregnancy, glucose, A1C
  • Apply for or renew Medicaid / Apple Health
  • Referrals to additional healthcare services

Education Opportunities

Spokane Community College representatives will be available to discuss: 

  • Enrollment in community college
  • Available education & training program

Phone Services

A local representative will be available to connect you with:

  • Reduced-cost cell phones
  • Affordable phone plans
  • Technology resources supporting safety & communication

Safety Planning Support

Not sure where to start? Advocates can schedule time to meet with you to help you explore your options at a time that works best for you. 

Support Groups

Learn about YWCA Spokane's support groups services available to survivors of intimate partner domestic violence. 

Clothing & Necessities

YWCA has a women's clothing & necessity boutique called Our Sister's Closet that is free for anyone to use by appointment. 

Skill Building Classes

YWCA has an array of free classes focused on parenting, healing, connection, and skill-building. 

Computer Lab

YWCA has a quiet computer lab clients can use at their own pace, as needed, during available hours.

Free Preschool

Our free preschool program supports not just the successful development of 3 and 4 year olds, it also provides support and resources to the whole family.
