YOUTH PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION
As a part of our prevention work, YWCA Spokane reaches out to young women and young men in the community with the goal to promote and educate about healthy relationships and to spread awareness about our available services.
YWCA Spokane partners with youth programs and agencies to provide key intervention and prevention services to young people. Almost 400 teens are reached with regular discussions about healthy relationships, boundaries, and communication.
Through one-on-one and group interactions, YWCA Spokane promotes a culture of respect and nonviolence with youth at an early age, with the goal of preventing possible future violent behavior.
We engage, educate, and empower youth to build lives and communities free from domestic and dating violence by offering safety tools and resources.
