The 2022 Awards Celebration & Luncheon

In alignment with Women’s History Month, the Women of Achievement awards luncheon is moving to March! Community members are encouraged to save the date, Thursday, March 24th, 2022.

Each year, YWCA Spokane celebrates high achieving women in the community through this awards celebration. Established with the goal of increasing community awareness and appreciation for the diverse contributions of women leaders in Spokane, our Women of Achievement awards luncheon has honored more than 260 women in the region.

This awards luncheon has evolved into YWCA Spokane’s largest fundraising event. Sponsored by more than 50 companies and organizations each year, it has become one of the area’s most prestigious award recognition events for women. Over 1000 friends and supporters who believe in YWCA Spokane’s mission come together to invest in the safety, hope, and healing of those served by YWCA’s critical programs through their support of this spectacular celebration of women.


In alignment with Women’s History Month, the Women of Achievement awards luncheon is moving to March! Community members are encouraged to register today to join us on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Davenport Grand.

Recipients of the 2022 Women of Achievement awards are celebrated at this luncheon which has evolved into YWCA Spokane’s largest and most critical annual fundraising event. We look forward to joining together with you at the Davenport Grand as we celebrate outstand women leaders in our community. The nomination window for the 2022 awards has now closed. Selected honorees will be announced at the beginning of January 2022.

In addition to honoring amazing women and learning about the mission and impact of YWCA Spokane, we will be inspired by a powerful Keynote, Admiral Michelle Howard (Retired)! All proceeds raised support YWCA Spokane’s critical services for domestic violence victims and their children, including emergency shelter, counseling, legal services, job readiness, child care, and Pre-K programs for low income children. Learn more about the impact of YWCA Spokane.

*Covid-19 Health and Safety Notice: For the health and safety of our guests, we will be in compliance with Washington State mandates for large events. In-person event mandates currently include proof of vaccination or negative test, and a mask. Should this mandate change prior to our event, we will keep all registered guests updated.

For 40 years, YWCA Spokane has celebrated successful women in the community for their achievements along with their commitment to giving back to the Spokane community. Established with the goal of increasing community awareness and appreciation for the diverse contributions of women leaders in Spokane, YWCA Spokane has honored over 250 women in the region. 2020 Women of Achievement Awards Celebration Recap

Our 2020 Women of Achievement awards celebration was part of YWCA Spokane’s two month campaign called ONE MISSION. The campaign and virtual celebration looked to raise a total of $275,000 in critical funds for the agency’s service in addition to celebrating those who live out YWCA’s one mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.  Proceeds raised benefit services for domestic violence victims and their children, including emergency shelter, counseling, legal services, job readiness, child care, and Pre-K programs for low-income children. YWCA Spokane serve approximately 16,500 women, men, children, and families each year.
