Nikita is a dedicated junior in high school, with a deep passion for advocating equity and equality for all individuals. As a committed leader, Nikita plays an active role as a member of the NAACP Youth Council and serves as the Chair of the Launch NW Youth Council. Through these roles, Nikita works to ensure that the voices of young people, especially those from marginalized communities, are heard and valued.

Outside of their leadership positions, Nikita finds solace and purpose in reading and writing. These activities not only provide a means of personal reflection but also serve as outlets for Nikita to articulate their thoughts on social justice and community impact. Whether through journaling or storytelling, Nikita uses the written word as a tool for change.

Nikita's devotion to social justice extends beyond the classroom. They are consistently seeking out opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations and actions that challenge systemic inequalities and create spaces for fairness and opportunity for all. Their commitment to equity inspires those around them, and Nikita continues to strive toward a future where everyone, regardless of their background, has access to the resources and opportunities needed to succeed.
