First Friday Art Walk at YWCA and – Unveiling of Sculpture

We had a wonderful turn out for the unveiling of a sculpture dedicated to domestic violence survivors. In addition, over 25 beautiful works of art from local artist were displayed, all with a focus on celebrating components of a women’s journey. Sincere thank you to all who were able to join us and to the amazing artists for contributing their work.

The sculpture is a permanent installation symbolizing the fortitude of a domestic violence survivor and the start of a new life. The additional works of art will continue to display throughout December as a holiday celebration for the women we serve. If you would like to come by and view the artwork, please give us a call at 509-789-9305. Thank you!
