The YWCA Spokane’s Law Enforcement Recognition Breakfast honors those officers and detectives who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to ensuring the dignity and safety of domestic violence survivors. Thank you to these law enforcement partners and to our Legal Advocacy team who put the breakfast together.

At this year’s 3rd annual breakfast on Sept 1st, 2016 at the YWCA Spokane rooftop patio, nominated officers and detectives are appreciated based on their professionalism, compassion, and the positive and lasting impact they have had on the lives of those who have been tragically affected by domestic violence.

Collaboration Is Key

This important event was created and facilitated by the YWCA Spokane’s Alternatives to Domestic Violence Programs. ADVP believes that violence is a community problem. Therefore, the YWCA Spokane collaborates with every appropriate community organization and local, state, and federal government agency or program in order to educate our community and create a climate of accountability.

If you, your business, or organization is interested in partnering with the YWCA Spokane, please contact our Community Outreach and Education Coordinator at 509.789.9290.
