Join YWCA Spokane as a valued sponsor of our 2020 Women of Achievement awards luncheon.
As a business that cares deeply about its community, we know you understand the importance of the critical services provided by our agency. Last year YWCA Spokane served over 16,800 women, children, and families in Spokane who were impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and unemployment; that is an average of 325 women and children supported every week!
Although we are proud to share that we have been able to positively impact so many lives, there are still many more who need our support. Domestic violence is the number one call to 911. On average, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 10 men in Spokane will experience an abusive relationship within their lifetime. These numbers are staggering and require a collaborated effort in order to make sustainable change.
This awards luncheon has become YWCA’s largest annual fundraising event. Not only do we bring together over 1200 passionate community members dedicated to the safety and well-being of women and children; we also have the opportunity to honor amazing, high-achieving women who give generously of themselves to make Spokane a better place for all citizens to live.
We need the support of caring organizations like yours to help make an incredible and lasting impact in our community. With event sponsorship commitments from companies like yours, YWCA Spokane is able to apply 100% of the proceeds raised during the event directly to our programs. These funds will benefit domestic violence victims and their children, our emergency shelter, counseling, legal services, job readiness, childcare, and Pre-K programs for low-income children.
Thank you to the corporations, businesses, organizations, and non-profits for helping us achieve this critical goal.
