Our YW Table Talk is the second activity held by YWCA Spokane this October during Domestic Violence Action Month

Domestic violence doesn’t stay at home. It goes to school, the grocery store, and work. Domestic violence is a workplace issue that affects all areas and professions. It can negatively impact employee productivity, attendance, and safety & wellbeing. Domestic violence often becomes workplace violence and is a safety issue for the survivor and their co-workers.

There are solutions.

Watch this YW Table Talk to learn about how our Mission Partners as leaders in Spokane’s business community are already stepping into action.

Listen in to the conversation between Annie Murphey (Executive Director of Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Coalition) and Jeanette Hauck (CEO of YWCA Spokane) as they discuss how workplaces, business leaders, HR professionals, supervisors, and co-workers can take action to foster a supportive environment for survivors and help to hold perpetrators accountable.

Help YWCA Spokane Raise $50,000 in Critical Funds for Survivors

This October, YWCA Spokane looks to raise $50,000 in order to ensure our free and confidential services remain available to the 16,500 women, men, children, and families who seek us out each year when they are impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and unemployment.

A reduction in the availability of flexible funding sources, and our inability to hold our traditional fundraising events this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, have created an urgent need for unrestricted dollars raised through your support.
