Each year, YWCA Spokane is proud to celebrate outstanding women in the community
Established with the goal of increasing community awareness and appreciation for the diverse contributions of women leaders in Spokane, this luncheon has honored more than 255 women in the region. The Women of Achievement awards has evolved into YWCA Spokane’s largest and most critical fundraiser. With sponsorship by more than 50 companies and organizations each year and over 1000 community members present, this celebration has become one of the area’s most prestigious award recognition events for women.
THE AWARDS CELEBRATION AND BENEFIT FOR YWCA SPOKANE
Traditionally, recipients of YWCA Spokane’s Women of Achievement awards are celebrated at a luncheon that has evolved into YWCA Spokane’s largest annual fundraising event, as well as Spokane’s largest and most prestigious celebration of women. Due to the public health crisis, YWCA Spokane will honor the achievements of this year’s honorees through a free virtual WOA Spotlight event held Thursday, October 1st at 6:00pm.
- A culinary tour of Northern Quest’s award-winning restaurants plus champagne will be available to take home and enjoy the night of the virtual event. View The Menu
- A virtual paddle raise opportunity will also be made available through the virtual event. Make sure you are registered here.
- All proceeds raised support YWCA Spokane’s critical services for domestic violence victims and their children, including emergency shelter, counseling, legal services, job readiness, child care, and Pre-K programs for low income children.
The free Women of Achievement awards celebration will be held virtually on Oct 1st @ 6pm.
This year, the Women of Achievement awards celebration will be part of YWCA Spokane’s two month campaign called ONE MISSION. The campaign looks to raise $275,000 in critical funds. Proceeds raised will benefit services for domestic violence victims and their children, including emergency shelter, counseling, legal services, job readiness, child care, and Pre-K programs for low-income children. YWCA Spokane serve over 17,000 women, children, and families each year. Thank you for your support!
