Meet the Panel
Alondra (she/her)
Moderator
Alondra has been a Domestic Violence Support Advocate at YWCA Spokane since 2021. She is passionate about advocating for individuals who have experienced intimate partner domestic violence (IPDV).
Alondra works with folks who have experienced IPDV at some point in their lives. Some of the services include safety planning and connecting folks to community resources while providing 1:1 advocacy & support.
Alondra is currently pursuing her Masters in Social Work in hopes to provide accessible mental health services & trauma-informed care to marginalized and vulnerable communities.
Kristina (she/her)
Panelist
Kristina is a Washington State Certified Crime Victim Advocate with 20+ years of experience working with individuals within judicial systems.
She created and currently spearheads the local Elder Abuse Task Force and has presented on the national level both on Creative Courtroom Strategies and Innovative Approaches to Victim-Centered Justice for People with Intellectual Disabilities and Older Adults.
In October of 2021, Kristina was appointed to the Washington State Certified Professional Guardianship Board where she chairs the Education Committee and is part of the Standards of Practice Committee. She is a Crime Victim Advocate and Team Lead for the Later in Life/Vulnerable Adult project at LCS Northwest.
Logan (he/him)
Panelist
Logan is a Legal Advocate at YWCA Spokane. He guide survivors of intimate partner domestic violence through the legal system, which includes supporting them through criminal cases and assisting on protection orders.
Logan understands that the criminal justice system can be a complex and difficult system to understand and to go through, so having trusted, confidential support who can walk alongside a survivor can be deeply meaningful.
In his free time, you can find Logan spending time with his best friend Anubis, his dog, and of course his wife. He enjoys playing video games and finding new adventures with the ones he loves.
