Partners In Progress
2018 YWCA Spokane Annual Meeting
YWCA Spokane cordially invites the public to attend our 2nd annual Partners In Progress annual meeting held Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 from 8:30am – 9:30am at the historic SIERR Building at McKinstry, 850 E Spokane Falls Blvd, Suite #100, Spokane, WA 99202.
Friends, partners, and supporters of YWCA Spokane’s mission are encouraged to join in a celebration of the agency’s 115th birthday, a reflection of successes in 2017, and acknowledgement of the organization’s Shining Star award honorees: staff, volunteers, and community partners who made an outstanding contribution in the previous year.
Since 1903, YWCA Spokane has partnered with passionate leaders and community members to create opportunities for peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Serving over 16,000 women, children and families last year, the agency will review the impact of their programs which focus on helping women and children escape from domestic violence, get access to legal support and counseling, provide healing and growth, and grant opportunities for women to learn new skills, increase employment options, and provide access to resources for their children’s education and well-being.
With the support of our staff, volunteers, partners, and community supporters, YWCA Spokane provides a lifeline for women and children in Spokane who are impacted by domestic violence, homelessness, and unemployment.
