Volunteer Spotlight – Brandi with Starbucks

Brandi has been an amazing asset to the YWCA Spokane in many areas including the Women’s Opportunity Center. On a weekly basis Brandi has provided job readiness support to women enrolled in our Women to Work program. Her friendly, positive attitude helps to create a welcoming environment for participants. She provides a wonderful example of professionalism, courtesy, and unwavering support that helps to instill confidence and courage to women seeking employment.
In addition to the many hours she has contributed to provide one-on-one and group support towards employment readiness services, Brandi and her team at Starbucks often volunteer to help out at fundraising events.

The women we serve through the Women’s Opportunity Center are sincerely grateful for all the support they have received from Brandi. We can’t thank her enough for her ongoing dedication to women in our community.
Thank you Brandi and the staff at Starbucks!
The Women’s Opportunity Center provides a safe and empowering environment for women to work on economic empowerment goals. Programs within the Center include Our Sister’s Closet – a donation based clothing boutique, Mujeres a trabajar – a job readiness program, and Esenciales – a trauma-sensitive soft-skill development curriculum.
