Project Lawn Clean-up

Huge thank you to BNSF Railway  for contributing 40 hours of time to create a beautiful yard for the survivors staying at our YWCA domestic violence safe shelter.

16 fantastic volunteers from BNSF Railway donated their afternoon and yard tools to clean up the yard and play area of one of our confidential safe shelters for domestic violence survivors. Their efforts accumulated to over 40 hours of labor.

They did an amazing job! We sincerely thank each and every person for helping to create a safe, clean, welcoming space for our families to enjoy.

Special thanks also goes to United Way del condado de Spokane for organizing this project through their online volunteer portal, VolunteerSpokane.org!

If you would like to volunteer as an individual or as a group for the YWCA Spokane, you are welcome to review opportunities listed at VolunteerSpokane.org or contact our agency Volunteer Coordinator at voluntario@ywcaspokane.org.
