Increasingly, people are re-evaluating what they want from their workplaces. This year, employees resigned in record numbers (also known as The Great Resignation) to take care of their families, to find jobs that are more flexible or offer better pay, or to find a workplace that shares their values. Paying a living wage is an important way employers can continue to attract and keep employees, demonstrate that they value their employees, and stay committed to fostering an equitable organization.
