YWCA Spokane’s Community Engagement Department raises awareness, builds partnerships, advances equity, and helps prevent violence in our community.
The Youth Self-Care Summit in Spokane is a one-day celebration empowering young women of color through self-care education and community. Hosted by YWCA Spokane and SWAG, the summit features interactive workshops, local facilitators, and a keynote by SWAG director Jaime Stacy, fostering connection, healing, and collective growth together locally.
Each year, Domestic Violence Action Month (DVAM) provides an opportunity to raise awareness in Spokane about the realities of relationship violence and to spark action toward building a community free from abuse.
