Sherri Lynch, Board Member Highlight

Thank you for your service!

YWCA Spokane is proud to take this opportunity to highlight one of the deeply valued members of our Board of Directors, Sherri Lynch. Each member of our board is passionate about our community and dedicates their time, talent, and resources towards the fulfillment of our mission. On behalf of our team, those we serve, and our community we thank you for all you do!

Dr. Sherri Lynch is the Assistant Dean at Gonzaga University's School of Leadership Studies. A skilled relationship builder for most of her professional career, Sherri has worked in various industries, from pharmaceutical to retail.

In academia since 2014, Sherri works to provide corporations with access to leadership education, ranging from professional development to graduate level. Dr. Lynch is also the creator of the Women Lead program at Gonzaga, which aims to educate and empower women at all stages of their careers. The program includes workshops, conferences, webinars, book clubs, and a certificate program, which Dr. Lynch authored.

Dr. Lynch teaches in the Comprehensive Leadership Program at Gonzaga and mentors students in their leadership development. She has presented to many professional groups on mentorship and sponsorship within organizations, offering tips for employees and employers to create successful programs. She continues to explore, write, and present on micro-affirmations and how women develop community in organizations. Her groundbreaking work are represented in the pillars of Women Lead programs and events at Gonzaga University and in the way she leads in the School of Leadership Studies. She has a heart for service and continues to serve on various community boards like the YWCA and Canopy Credit Union.

On a personal note, Dr. Lynch loves life on the lake or river surrounded by her kids, family, good friends, and under a banner of sunshine.
