End The Silence – A Community Effort

YWCA Spokane would like to thank our amazing community partners for standing with us to End The Silence with domestic violence during Domestic Violence Action Month this October.

We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. So many of you have taken the pledge to show victims of domestic violence they are not alone, that we are here together as support, and we will no longer be silent about domestic violence.

Adopting a zero tolerance policy for domestic violence in your own networks helps to shift our culture’s silent acceptance of violence and helps to create real and lasting change for so many women, children, and families.

Sincere thank you to everyone for helping lift the vale of silence that has been devastating to so many.
