Emily Peterson, Board Member Highlight

Thank you for your service!

Each of our wonderful Board of Directors is so passionate about our community and dedicates their time, talent, and resources towards the fulfillment of our mission. On behalf of our team, those we serve, and our community we thank you for all you do!

Emily Peterson is a Project Manager at Bouten Construction Company, where she specializes in leading occupied healthcare construction projects across central and eastern Washington. With over a decade of experience in the general contracting industry, she has worked on projects nationwide before establishing her career in Spokane.

Emily holds a degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University and has been actively involved in the construction industry since 2011. In addition to her professional work, she is deeply committed to community engagement. She serves as the co-chair for the YWCA Spokane’s Abend in der Toskana fundraising committee and is an active member of the Spokane Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction, where she holds the role of secretary on the board of directors.

Outside of work and volunteer efforts, Emily enjoys traveling, golfing, skiing, and taking walks with her husband and their dog.

"I support the YWCA Spokane as they look to help an individual and family holistically work through their trauma. Women are the backbone of our community and without all the services that the YWCA Spokane offers, it would be difficult for victims to be back on their feet. The support they provide is invaluable and speaks to my heart." - Emily Peterson

Thank you to Emily and our entire Board of Directors

We extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible individuals joining our Board of Directors. Their dedication and commitment to our mission undoubtedly bolsters YWCA Spokane's ability to provide vital programs and services to our community. We welcome the support and collaboration that this esteemed board brings to our journey of empowerment, equity, and innovation.
