2023 Board of Directors – Ashley Steward Cameron

Danke

Each of our wonderful Board of Directors is so passionate about our community and dedicates their time, talent, and resources towards the fulfillment of our mission. On behalf of our team, those we serve, and our community we thank you for all you do!

We’re grateful to have Ashley Steward Cameron as the Vice Chair of our 2022 and 2023 Board of Directors! Ashley has spent the majority of her life and career in Spokane. With over 16 years of experience in People Operations, this year Ashley promoted into the senior leadership team for Spokane County as the Senior Director of Human Resources. She has her Senior Professional in HR certification and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/HR Management from Eastern Washington University. In her free time, she serves on the Board of YWCA Spokane and participates in other community activities.

An active outdoor enthusiast, Ashley enjoys snowshoeing, hiking, and paddle boarding whenever she can (usually with her two rescue pups in tow). The board of directors is committed to YWCA Spokane’s vital work as a provider of critical social services in the Spokane region. Community leaders volunteer substantial time, skills, funds and other resources to help the organization carry out its mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families and strengthen the Spokane community.

Thank you, Ashley, for your amazing work in our community!
