Thank You to the BNSF Foundation for Empowering Women with Your Gift!

Thank you to the BNSF Railway Foundation for your grant to benefit YWCA Spokane’s Women’s Opportunity Center!

Because of their amazing support, YWCA Spokane’s Women’s Opportunity Center (WOC) will be able to provide Economic Empowerment Advocacy to Intimate Partner Violence survivors. As many survivors are economically disenfranchised by their abuser, this service will allow survivors to gain their independence and confidence back. We are so deeply grateful to the BNSF Railway Foundation for funding such an important project that will truly empower survivors. Thank you!

We deeply appreciate the BNSF Railway Foundation for their commitment to empowering survivors and their families to stand economically strong. Thank you for helping women and families escaping intimate partner domestic violence, unemployment, and homelessness reach their highest potential! Below is a quote from Angelic, a client who benefits from our Advocacy services. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the BNSF Railway Foundation for helping women like Angelic with their gift.

“It’s just been one amazing service after another. It’s all worked together to bring about this harmony in my life. Between the counseling, Essentials, BFET, computer lab, all of it together has made a huge difference for me personally. It has so radically helped me. It’s important women, and men too, have a safe space to come, heal, and reclaim life.”- YWCA Spokane Client
