Join Us for YWCA's 10th Annual Family Wish List Program!
Brighten the holiday season for 90 local families who are experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, or unemployment. Your kindness adds much needed hope and joy this winter for families served by YWCA Spokane.
All family wishlists have been adopted! Thank you!
Participating Programs
You have the opportunity to adopt a holiday wish list for one or more families who are served through the below three YWCA programs this season.
ECEAP All wishlists fulfilled!
Our Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a free, comprehensive preschool program for eligible families with children ages 3 to 4. In addition to preschool education, this program supports the whole family through individualized support, health services, and nutrition assistance.

DV Safe Shelter All wishlists fulfilled!
Our Sichere Zuflucht provides a secure haven for survivors and their children who are escaping imminent danger due to intimate partner domestic violence. This beloved community offering safety, case management, and food & basic necessities for families while they figure out their next steps.

Opportunity Center All wishlists fulfilled!
Our Opportunity Center, offers holistic, restorative services for trauma survivors. Groups, classes, and learning opportunities are aimed at supporting healing and wellness while building a supportive community, all at no cost to participants.

A Note About Shelter Family Wishlists:
To best support families served through our Safe Shelter, we request a $150 gift card per family member in place of purchased gifts. More information can be provided upon submission of the wishlist interest form.
About the Families
Each wishlist meets the unique needs of the families we serve. Whether it's a much-needed home-care item, a heartfelt self-care gift, or a gift card that empowers parents to select meaningful presents for their own family, each gift reminds the families we serve that they are not alone.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, all 90 families in this year’s Hope for the Holidays program were adopted. Your contributions provided meaningful gifts, essential items, and much-needed support to families facing significant challenges this holiday season.

Donate Online
You can designate a financial gift to a participating Hope for the Holidays program. With your special gift, our staff will purchase items or gift cards needed to fulfill family wishlists.

Next Steps
Once you have been matched with a family's wishlist make sure to follow the below steps.
After You're Matched
- Complete a Donation Receipt* to drop off with your gift(s) and for your own records.
- Share a photo of you with your gifts so we can celebrate all our donors.
- Deliver clearly marked packages to YWCA (930 N Monroe St, Spokane, WA 99201) with the family's name and program supported: ECEAP, Safe Shelter, or Opportunity Center.
- Feel good knowing you made a family's holiday a little brighter this holiday season.
*Note: Download and open the donation receipt on your computer to fill in the PDF fields, print a copy to send with the gift, and save one for your tax records.
Donation Drop Off
Deliver unwrapped gifts to YWCA Spokane, 930 N Monroe St, Spokane on either:
- Wednesday, December 3rd, 11am - 6pm
- Thursday, December 4th, 11am - 6pm
Remember:
- Bring your donation receipt when you drop off gifts.
- Label all gifts with family ID and program name: ECEAP, Opportunity Center, or DV Safe Shelter.
- All donations need to be delivered by Thursday, December 4th, to ensure families receive their gifts on time.
