Key Partners

Together, our foundation is stronger, our reach farther, and our impact greater. We are deeply honored by the support and commitment from each of our community partners!

As a Village

Providing programs in domestic violence support services, economic empowerment, and early childhood education, YWCA Spokane positively impacts the lives of thousands of community members each year. But, we don't do this work alone!

It takes partnerships with corporations, government grantors, community organizations, and individuals to collectively thrust our efforts towards a future without racism, where all women know their worth. We're so grateful for every partner on this page who makes this work possible.

شركاء المهمة

Mission Partners are businesses and organizations that provide a lifeline for women, children, survivors, and families by investing a significant 3-year contribution of $100,000 or more to support this work.

These invested leaders embody our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women and clearly understand the importance of it. Their commitment and dedication bring the promise of support and hope for those struggling with poverty, trauma, homelessness, and despair. With this help, we harvest the potential to build upon our accomplishments from the past and grow the health and sustainability of our critical programs well into the future.

The Family Justice Center

Family Justice Center At YWCA Spokane

A Community Approach to Addressing Domestic Violence

Housed in YWCA Spokane’s main office location downtown, the Family Justice Center is the home of several partner agencies that have a common goal to protect the safety of domestic violence survivors, hold domestic violence offenders accountable, and reduce incidents of domestic violence in Spokane.

The Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Team:

  • YWCA Spokane Legal Advocates
  • City and County Law Enforcement
  • Prosecutors

The Family Justice Center, identified as a national best practices approach to Domestic Violence intervention and prevention, was formed with the goal of providing coordinated services to survivors of family violence.

The core concept is to provide one central location where survivors can go to:

  • Talk to an advocate
  • Receive information on housing and shelter
  • Access counseling and job readiness services
  • Receive free childcare
  • Meet with law enforcement officers
  • Talk with prosecutors

The ultimate goal is to help survivors move from what often is the most traumatic moment in their lives to hope, healing, safety, and stability.
