Jasmine Kazuko Linane-Booey : YWCA Spotlight

Highlighting Incredible People & Impact In Spokane

Every other month, through this YW Spotlight blog series, we call attention to the people and work happening in our community that is creating real and lasting change towards a more equitable Spokane.

November Spotlight

This month, we’re highlighting Jasmine Kazuko Linane-Booey, a wellness educator, collective harmony facilitator, and founder of Kazuko Wellness.

About Jasmine Kazuko Linane-Booey

Jasmine's work centers accessible pathways to integrative wellness, blending yoga, reiki, somatic energy practices, breathwork, earth medicine, and creative expression to honor the full expanse of the human experience.

Cultivating Wholeness Through Connection

At Kazuko Wellness, Jasmine invites individuals and communities to return to balance—body, mind, and spirit. Her offerings integrate traditional wisdom and contemporary practice, creating spaces for deep rest, reflection, and sustainable transformation. Whether through workshops, retreats, or collaborative community programs, Jasmine’s mission is to nurture collective well-being rooted in embodiment, justice, and relational care.

A Personal Calling

With over a decade in education—spanning early childhood through higher education and adult leadership—Jasmine brings a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to every space she holds. As a mixed-race cis woman of color guided by lived experience and ancestral wisdom, she embodies both softness and strength in her facilitation.

Rooted in the legacy of her paternal grandmother, Kazuko Ajioka, Jasmine sees this work as her greatest rebellion: guiding people back to the truth that they are their first and greatest healers—already whole, already home.

Community Care

Whether facilitating through Kazuko Wellness or collaborating with local partners, Jasmine’s message remains constant: collective healing begins when we slow down, listen deeply, and honor the wisdom we each carry. Her work reminds us that true wellness is not an individual pursuit—it is a shared practice of remembering our interconnectedness in every setting.

How You Can Get Involved

You can support Jasmine’s mission by participating in her classes, sharing her message, or partnering to bring accessible wellness programs to your community. Together, we can cultivate a world where rest is resistance, healing is collective, and every person feels seen, supported, and whole.
