About Odyssey Youth Movement
Odyssey Youth Movement is dedicated to promoting equity for LGBTQ+ youth in the Inland Northwest. They offer a variety of programs and services tailored to support young individuals.
Established in 1992, Odyssey Youth Movement offers a variety of services and resources to support LGBTQ+ youth in Spokane. They provide a safe space for young individuals through their youth and young adult drop-in programs, where participants can access support, connect with peers, and engage in various activities. The organization also runs a Basic Needs Program, offering meals, snacks, and a clothing closet with gender-affirming apparel and chest-compression binders. In addition, they offer educational workshops on topics like LGBTQ+ history, healthy relationships, and job readiness. Odyssey hosts community-building events, including the Youth Queer Prom, and participate in celebrations like Spokane Pride and Pride in Perry, helping LGBTQ+ youth feel a sense of belonging and community.
