2020 WOA Keynote Speaker – Peg Currie

YWCA Spokane is proud to announce this year’s Keynote Speaker for the 2020 Women of Achievement awards.

2020 Women of Achievement Awards Keynote Speaker – Peg Currie

Peg is an outstanding leader in our community as well as at Providence Health Care, where she leads and cares for more than 8000 employees across the Inland Northwest. In addition to being the Chief Operating Officer at Providence Health Care and Chief Executive at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Children’s Hospital, and Holy Family Hospital, Peg is also part of YWCA’s cherished Women of Achievement alumnae as the recipient of the 2015 Science, Technology & Environment Award.

Peg is a passionate advocate for domestic violence prevention. Through her career as a nurse and leader in the medical care system, Peg has witnessed the devastating impact family violence has on those in Spokane. Through her leadership at Providence Health Care, a 2020 YWCA Mission Partner, Peg and her team look to create radical change through their support of programs, services, education, and resources that impact and save lives, right here in our community.

Please join us on October 1st at 6:00pm for YWCA Spokane’s 38th annual awards celebration and Peg’s inspirational keynote address.
